Posted by Judy

One of the world’s leaders in manufacturing motorcycles is Kawasaki, a trusted motorcycle company in Japan. Kawasaki specializes in producing bikes and motors for the powersports industry. Although the motorcycle division of the company is just a small unit as compared with their boats, trains and plane manufacturing, Kawasaki takes pride for producing high-quality and strong-performance engines. Through the years, kawasaki motorcycles are considered to be one of the finest and greatest motorcycle creations in the industry. Every model released by the company is a fruit of Kawasaki’s good performance and high regards to quality and reliability.

The first motorcycle created by Kawasaki was made in 1960. Their products were made even better when the company handled Meguro and ventured in the production of big bikes in 1966, W1 being the first. This wasn’t a big hit because others have lighter and faster bikes. As years pass by, Kawasaki was able to cope and create the demands of their consumers making them one of the leaders in the race of motorcycle design and manufacturing.

The engine performance and the style of cars are often the only bases used in choosing a car that we want to own; taking for granted other useful factors and conditions such as the safety features provided in a specific car model.

This is what caught my attention about 2009 Acura TSX. This model made my Honda is using its safety features to make people think of this model in choosing the car to buy. Aside from the typical driver and front seat passenger seatbelts, this 2009 Acura is designed to reduce the impact on the passengers during car collisions through the Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACETM) body structure that makes use of crash energy absorbing technology and directs frontal crash energy to upper and lower structural areas. This technology also enables the distribution of frontal impact forces around and away from the passenger compartment that limits cabin deformation for better passenger protection.

How to Choose an Employee

Posted by admin

A lot of people believe that “First Impressions do Last”. However, in choosing an employee, your first impressions are not always correct. And believing in what your instincts say about a certain person could lead to missing the chance of having the most efficient employees for your business.

There are several processes that you can subject your applicants to before finally deciding whether he or she deserves to get the chance to work with you. These processes are your tools to knowing the applicant better as well as to know the contributions that he or she can give you and your business.

Usually, the first part of the application process is the submission of the resume, bio-data or any document that contains the personal and work experience information that may be significant in the application. The resume is the summary of the applicant’s capabilities, qualities and educational and employment background. It is important that you review his credentials very well. The resume is usually the reference used to determine who among the applicants are worth the job.

Depending on the position that is open, an exam may be relevant in the application process. Through the exam, you can have a better assessment on the applicant’s skills and potentials even his ability to follow instructions and his problem solving techniques.

Then finally, an interview should be conducted for you to personally see his qualities. By talking to your applicant, you can clarify and ask him further about the things written in his resume and the results of his exam or anything that may be significant to you. You can also ask his opinion about certain situations that may enable you to know the type of person he is specifically the ways he responds to certain situations.

Choosing the one who will be a part of your business is really a serious matter because the role of the employees is significant in your business as a whole. By following the mentioned processes, you will increase the tendency of hiring the most qualified applicant to work for you.

Handling Disputes

Posted by admin

The worst situation that could happen besides the bankruptcy of your business is dispute led by your employees. There are a lot of situations that could lead to dispute. Wage increase that the employees are requesting but the management has failed to give, new policies that employees deem to be unfair, firing of a certain employee who won the sympathy of his co-workers and several others.

Dispute sometimes affect the business where it could lead to temporary shutdown of the company that could affect the profit. On the other hand, it could affect the employees involved leaving them unemployed with no source of income to survive.

It is important that the management should mediate and control the dispute to prevent grave effects especially to the profit of the business. The management should exert effort to determine the root cause of the dispute. It is not a wise move to blame everything on the employees and implement disciplinary actions immediately. The deciding body of the company should ask questions such as: What led to the specific serious action? Is the management responsible for something? Is there something that the management failed to do? From the answers to these questions, the deciding body must determine the wisest action to implement.

Favoritism

Posted by admin

It is just normal that among the employees you have in your business there will be at least one person that will have an outstanding performance, dedication as well as an admirable work attitude. Of course, these people are those which are often given commendations, the chance to be the one to hold and be a part of harder and more challenging projects and opportunities.

However, as a part of the management, it is important that no matter how good the performance of your employee is, you should maintain the equality and fairness among all your employees. Not being able to do so could lead to inharmonious relationship among your employees – something that could affect the productivity of your employees and worse, it could lead to conspiracy of other employees against the specific employee; sometimes, it could also degrade the integrity of your management.

It is important that some commendations such as higher compensation should remain confidential. This is the reason why it is usually a policy that every employee should not show his pay slip to anyone. On the other hand, the treatment you give to other employees should remain fair and see to it that you will not make them feel that you favor a particular employee over everybody else.
